Beginning level technique- Level 6 (typically age 9+):
Level 6 is where dancers begin true technique-focused training across ballet, tap, and jazz. While new steps are introduced, the emphasis shifts toward refining form, strength, and precision in each style.
In ballet, dancers work to improve posture, alignment, and expand their movement vocabulary through more structured barre and center work.
In jazz, the focus is on flexibility, clean technique, and developing more advanced leaps, turns, and jumps.
In tap, students continue exploring rhythm and musicality while learning foundational core steps at a more advanced level.
Often called “Beginning Technique,” Level 6 is designed for dancers who already have a solid foundation in all three styles. This class is not recommended for those new to dance.
New 2025-2026 season- modern- This class introduces dancers to the foundations of classical modern dance, inspired by techniques such as Horton, Graham, and Taylor. Dancers will explore grounded movement, breath, contractions, and expressive shapes, with a focus on alignment, strength, and control.
