2023-2024 Season Pricing:
Tuition at Sunflower State Dance is billed as a membership and remains the same whether there is 3, 4, or 5 classes per month. We do not prorate for holidays.
Our season runs August 142023 through June 22, 2023, ending with the recital. We enroll until each class is at capacity.
In order to best prepare students for performing in the recital, students must be enrolled by February 1, to participate in the June recital.
2023-2024 Season Pricing:
Registration fee: $30 + tax per child.
One weekly class: $75 a month
Each additional weekly classes $56.25 (25% discount) a month
Other fees: $35 + tax recital fee due with May tuition and includes a digital recital video and live action photography.
$15+ tax will be added for any payments not received on or before the 8th of the month.
All families must have a valid card on file. Card will be run on the 10th of the month if not paid before or on autopay.
Costumes fees are NOT included with regular tuition.
**We do not prorate for missed classes, however students are welcome to make up the missed class in a different class in the same level.**
Withdrawal policy:
We hope that doesn’t happen, but we get life happens. 15 day notice before the 1st of the month must be given via email, call, or in person to terminate enrollment. We hold your dancers spot in the class which can prevent others from enrolling therefore you must terminate classes in a timely manner so we can fill the spot. To withdraw you must send an email to admin@sunflowerstatedance.com 15 days before the next billing cycle. You will be responsible for tuition if not withdrawn before as stated above.
Dress Code:
****Reminder dance shoes should never be worn outside****
Preschool classes: a leotard (any color), tights, skirts are optional and proper dance shoes.
Ballet classes: a leotard (any color), tights, skirts are optional and proper dance shoes.
Jazz/Tap classes: a leotard (any color), tights, skirts are optional and proper dance shoes. Or A leotard, jazz pants, and proper dance shoes.
HipHop classes: athletic clothing such as leggings and a t-shirt. No shorts or jeans. Proper dance shoes.
Modern classes: a leotard (any color) and leggings.
***bare midriffs are not allowed in any style of dance***
Male dancers should wear black dance pants and white shirt for ballet and jazz. Athletic clothing for other styles, no shorts.
All shoes must be purchased and fit by Sunflower State Dance, to ensure proper fit for muscle development and to protect our expensive speciality dance flooring.
Hair requirements:
All classes require students to have their hair pulled back.
Beginning technique and up must have a ballet bun for ballet classes.
